No. 16 The Davis Barn

This Yankee style horse barn 30’ x 40’ with a gable roof, gable entrance and vertical siding with horizontal cladding.
Note: hoist for hay, doors to hay loft. The barn was one of a group of barns on the Crowley farm (right of center).
The family settled in Mount Holly in 1795; began making cheese in 1824; built the Crowley Cheese Factory in 1882.
